- In steam service, the siphon will prevent hot steam from entering a pressure gauge, diaphragm seal or transmitter.
Use
- Recommended for applications involving temperatures above 100°F (37°C).
Construction
- Schedule 40 steel, welded
- Male IPS connection
Safety notes
- Use siphons whenever condensing hot vapors (not just steam) are present
